dont buy regular solar panels. they are too expensive and take 15 years plus to regain the cost of installation. instead, there is a new type of Solar Panel, much like a roll of wallpaper. it is very cheap, and is 40-50% more responsive to sunlight than normal panels. they pay for themselves in a month. search Cheap Solar Panels on google. skylights are pretty practical. if you can’t find the cheap roll-on panels, get the normal ones, but find the cheapest, and make them flat on your roof, with the long ens pointing to wehre the sun rises and sets. this will maximize savings.
